Cupcakes!

I just made s’more cupcakes and Oreo cupcakes. They’re pretty good. But they look even better :)

So, today would have been my High School graduation, had I not chose to leave that school and begin my college education.

Although I’m extremely happy with the decision I made, I couldn’t get myself to go to the graduation tonight… well, it’s probably happening right now as I type this. 

It’s bittersweet for me. The kids that are graduating today are kids I was in school with for the majority of my childhood, from 3rd grade to 9th grade. I know almost every single one of them and yet when I think of the Class of 2012, I just feel as if I don’t belong. I feel like I can’t fit in with any of those people. 

My life has changed so much since I was “in” High School and I feel like I’m a whole new person, a person that nobody here really knows. 

But nevertheless, I want to congratulate the Class of 2012. Making it through 12 years of school and graduating is an accomplishment to be extremely proud of. Now, real life begins. Including mine.

I also want to congratulate my talented and widely popular brother for not only winning the favorite Sophomore last night at his band banquet, but also the top percussionist. 

I’m officially known as “Mike’s sister.”

And on an exciting note, exactly one week from today, my friends and I will be enjoying our vacation weekend on the beach! I CAN’T WAIT!
